Our Intricate Layers
A Guide to our Chakras and Energy Bodies
The ancient wisdom of the chakras has been embraced by cultures around the world for centuries. These energy centres within our bodies play a vital role in our physical, emotional, and spiritual wellbeing. We hear lots about the 7 main chakras, but less about the 8th, 9th, 10th, 11th, and 12th, in this article we will delve into the realm of all 12 chakras and the 5 energy bodies, to give you a greater understanding of our energy centres and your aura. We will explore their unique qualities, significance, and how you can harness their power to achieve balance and vitality.
Chakras are energy wheels, there are 7 main chakras that run the length of our spine. Each chakra is associated to a colour and is linked to certain parts of the body and emotions. When one or more of our chakras are blocked it causes emotional and physical dissonance. This usually occurs when we do not process negative emotions and supress them instead. Negative thoughts, feelings and emotions can be caused by many things, and what impacts one person, may have zero effect on the other. The impact an event or something someone says to us varies based on things that have already happened to us, not just in this life but in all of our past lives, it can even be linked to ancestorial trauma that has been carried through our lineage. The point is when something impacts us negatively, if left unprocessed, it can cause a block in our energy system and centres. Happily, there are lots of ways we can move negative energy along and out of our sacred system.
Let’s first take a closer look at the 7 main chakras and what they are associated with.
ROOT CHAKRA

Muladhara represents our foundation and connection to the physical world. It is associated with stability, grounding, and a sense of security. When balanced, it instils a sense of safety and helps us feel rooted in our lives. When blocked we can feel fearful, anxious, ungrounded or disconnected from your body. Practices such as yoga, meditation, and spending time in nature can help activate and balance the root chakra.

It governs our emotions, creativity, and sensuality. It is the center of our passion and pleasure. When this chakra is in harmony, we experience a healthy flow of emotions, creativity, and a balanced approach to our relationships. Embracing Abundance
Unlocking a Fulfilling Life
In a world where scarcity often seems to be the norm, the concept of abundance offers a refreshing perspective. Abundance is more than just material wealth; it encompasses a mindset, a way of living that can transform our lives. In this blog, we will explore the power of abundance and how it can bring joy, fulfillment, and a sense of purpose to our daily lives.
Abundance Mindset
At its core, abundance begins with a mindset shift. It is about cultivating a belief that there is enough for everyone and that opportunities are limitless. By adopting an abundance mindset, we free ourselves from the shackles of scarcity thinking and open ourselves up to a world of possibilities. This mindset helps us recognise and appreciate the abundance that already exists in our lives.
Gratitude
Gratitude is a powerful tool in embracing abundance. When we appreciate the blessings and abundance present in our lives, we attract more positive experiences. By practicing gratitude daily, we train our minds to focus on the good rather than dwelling on what we lack. Gratitude shifts our perspective, allowing us to see the abundance that surrounds us in the form of relationships, health, nature, and opportunities.
Abundance in Relationships
Abundance extends beyond material wealth. It encompasses the richness of our relationships. By nurturing and cultivating meaningful connections with others, we tap into a wellspring of love, support, and shared experiences. Embracing abundance in relationships means fostering a sense of abundance within ourselves and seeing the potential for growth and fulfilment in our connections with others.
Abundance in Health and Wellbeing
Our health is one of the most valuable forms of abundance. When we prioritize self-care, exercise, and nourishing our bodies with nutritious food, we create a foundation for abundant living. Taking care of our mental and emotional well-being also plays a vital role in experiencing abundance. By practicing mindfulness, meditation, and self-reflection, we can cultivate a sense of inner abundance that radiates outward.
Abundance in Opportunities
Abundance is not limited to material possessions; it also involves recognizing and seizing opportunities that come our way. By embracing a growth mindset, we open ourselves up to new experiences, challenges, and possibilities. Seeing opportunities as abundant rather than scarce allows us to step out of our comfort zones, take risks, and reach our full potential.
Embracing abundance is a transformative journey that begins with a shift in mindset and a deep appreciation for the abundance already present in our lives. By cultivating gratitude, nurturing relationships, prioritising health and wellbeing, and embracing opportunities, we can unlock a fulfilling and abundant life. Remember, abundance is not about the quantity of possessions or achievements; it is about living a life filled with joy, purpose, and gratitude. So let's embrace abundance and create a life that overflows with blessings and fulfillment.
Transforming Your Life With Daily Habits
How to Introduce Positive Daily Habits
Positive habits have the power to transform our lives. They can boost our well-being, increase productivity, and contribute to a more fulfilling existence. However, introducing new habits can be challenging. In this blog, we will explore effective strategies to help you successfully incorporate positive daily habits into your routine and create lasting change.
Start small
Begin by focusing on one habit at a time. Trying to tackle too many habits simultaneously can feel overwhelming and increase the chances of abandoning them altogether. Choose a habit that aligns with your goals and start with something achievable, such as drinking more water or reading for 10 minutes each day.
Set clear goals
Clearly define your intentions and goals for adopting the new habit. Be specific about what you want to achieve and why it matters to you. Setting clear goals provides motivation and helps you stay committed to the habit, especially during challenging times.
Create a routine
Establishing a regular routine can significantly increase the chances of successfully integrating a new habit into your daily life. Identify a specific time and place for practicing the habit, making it easier to remember and follow through. Consistency is key to making the habit stick.
Use reminders
Incorporate reminders to prompt you to engage in the new habit. Use alarms, sticky notes, or smartphone apps to keep you on track. Visual cues in your environment, such as placing your workout clothes next to your bed, can also serve as reminders.
Find accountability partners
Having someone to hold you accountable can be incredibly helpful when introducing new habits. Share your goals with a trusted friend, family member, or join a supportive community. Regular check-ins and mutual support can keep you motivated and increase your chances of success.
Track your progress
Keep a record of your progress to stay motivated and monitor your growth. Use a habit tracker app or a simple journal to note each time you engage in the new habit. Seeing your progress on paper can reinforce your commitment and inspire you to continue.
Practice self-compassion
Remember that adopting new habits is a journey, and setbacks are normal. If you stumble or miss a day, be kind to yourself. Instead of dwelling on the slip-up, focus on getting back on track and recommitting to the habit. Embrace self-compassion as you navigate the process.
Celebrate milestones
Acknowledge and celebrate your achievements along the way. Recognize and reward yourself when you reach milestones or accomplish significant progress. Celebrating your success reinforces the positive nature of the habit and motivates you to continue.
Introducing positive daily habits is a transformative journey that requires patience, commitment, and self-compassion. By starting small, setting clear goals, establishing routines, and finding support, you can successfully integrate positive habits into your life. Remember, it's not about perfection but progress. Embrace the process, stay consistent, and celebrate your victories along the way. With time, these positive habits will become an integral part of your lifestyle, enhancing your well-being and leading you towards a more fulfilling life.
The Power of Intention Tapping
Unleashing Your Inner Potential
In our fast-paced and often overwhelming world, finding effective ways to enhance our well-being and harness our inner potential has become increasingly important. One technique that has gained popularity in recent years is intention tapping. This unique practice combines aspects of mindfulness, energy meridian tapping, and the power of intention to create positive shifts in our lives. In this article, we will explore the concept of intention tapping and how it can help us embrace a more fulfilling and purposeful existence.
Understanding Intention Tapping
Intention tapping stems from the belief that our thoughts, emotions, and intentions have a profound impact on our overall well-being. By combining the principles of traditional tapping methods such as Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) with the power of intention, we can tap into our inner resources and create positive changes in our lives.
The process involves gently tapping on specific acupressure points in the body while focusing on a specific intention. These acupressure points are believed to be connected to the body's energy meridians, which, when stimulated, can help release stagnant energy and promote balance. By incorporating intention into the tapping practice, we align our conscious desires with our body's energy system, amplifying the effect and potential for transformation.
How to Practice Intention Tapping
Set a Clear Intention: Begin by setting a clear and specific intention for your tapping practice. This could be related to personal growth, emotional healing, attracting abundance, enhancing relationships, or any other area of your life you wish to improve.
Identify the Relevant Acupressure Points: Research or consult with an expert to identify the acupressure points associated with your chosen intention. Common points include the top of the head, eyebrow, side of the eye, under the eye, under the nose, chin, collarbone, under the arm, and the side of the hand.
Begin Tapping: With gentle, rhythmic taps, use your fingertips to tap each acupressure point. As you tap, repeat an affirmation or statement related to your intention. For instance, if your intention is to attract abundance, you could say, "I am open to receiving abundant opportunities and prosperity."
Focus on Your Intention: While tapping, visualise and feel the positive outcome you desire. Immerse yourself in the emotions associated with achieving your intention, allowing yourself to believe that it is already happening.
Repeat and Reflect: Continue tapping and repeating the affirmation for a few minutes, or until you feel a sense of release, calmness, or a shift in your energy. Take a moment to reflect on any insights or emotions that arise during the process.
Benefits of Intention Tapping
Emotional Healing: Intention tapping can be a powerful tool for releasing emotional blockages, reducing stress, and promoting emotional well-being. By focusing on specific intentions, we can address and heal deep-rooted emotional wounds.
Increased Self-Awareness: Practicing intention tapping encourages self-reflection and fosters a deeper connection with ourselves. It allows us to identify and transform limiting beliefs, patterns, and self-sabotaging behaviours.
Manifestation and Goal Achievement: By aligning our intentions with tapping, we activate the Law of Attraction and create a positive energy field to manifest our desires. Intention tapping helps us stay focused and motivated, propelling us towards our goals.
Enhanced Mindfulness: Incorporating intention tapping into a regular mindfulness practice can deepen our presence and awareness in the present moment. It helps cultivate a sense of gratitude, positivity, and overall well-being.
Intention tapping is a versatile and transformative practice that empowers individuals to take control of their lives, align with their true potential, and manifest their desires. By combining tapping techniques with the power of intention, we tap into the body's energy system, fostering emotional healing, self-awareness, and personal growth. Embrace the power of intention tapping and unlock the abundant possibilities that lie within you.

It means embracing our imperfections, forgiving our mistakes, and being patient with our progress. Self-compassion allows us to build a strong foundation of self-love, leading to healthier relationships, increased resilience, and a greater sense of wellbeing.

Breaking the Cycle of Depression
Empowering Healing through Energy Therapy
Depression is a complex and challenging condition that affects millions of people worldwide. While traditional approaches to treatment, such as therapy and medication, have proven effective for many, there is growing interest in alternative methods like energy therapy. Lets explore how energy therapy can break the cycle of depression, offering a holistic and empowering approach to healing.
Understanding Energy Therapy for Depression
Energy therapy approaches, such as Reiki, Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT, Tapping), and chakra balancing, work on the principle that depression is not only a mental health issue but also an energetic imbalance within the body. These therapies aim to restore the flow of vital life force energy, promoting balance and well-being on physical, emotional, and spiritual levels.
Breaking the Cycle
Releasing Blocked Energy: Depression often manifests as blocked or stagnant energy within the body. Energy therapy techniques help release these energy blockages, allowing the free flow of life force energy. As a result, this can reduce feelings of heaviness, sadness, and emotional numbness often associated with depression.
Restoring Emotional Balance: Energy therapy can help individuals process and release suppressed emotions. By addressing the energetic imbalances underlying depression, these therapies can promote emotional healing, reduce anxiety, and enhance overall emotional wellbeing.
Enhancing Self-Awareness: Energy therapy encourages individuals to become more aware of their energetic state and how it relates to their emotions and thoughts. Through this heightened self-awareness, individuals can identify and address negative patterns or triggers, leading to healthier coping mechanisms and a greater sense of self-control.
Promoting Relaxation and Stress Reduction: Energy therapy techniques, such as Reiki and EFT induce deep relaxation and reduce stress. By activating the body's natural relaxation response, these therapies can alleviate symptoms of depression, such as fatigue, insomnia, and restlessness.
Supporting Mind-Body Connection: Energy therapy recognises the interconnectedness of the mind, body, and spirit. By addressing the energetic imbalances, individuals can experience a greater sense of harmony and alignment within themselves, promoting overall wellbeing and aiding in the management of depressive symptoms.
Empowering a Sense of Hope and Compassion: Energy therapy often focuses on fostering a positive mindset and cultivating feelings of hope and compassion. By working with energy systems, individuals can regain a sense of control over their own healing journey, empowering them to break free from the cycle of depression and embrace a more positive outlook on life.
Depression is a complex condition that requires a comprehensive approach to healing. Energy therapy offers a unique and empowering method to break the cycle of depression by addressing the energetic imbalances underlying this mental health challenge. By restoring the flow of energy, promoting emotional wellbeing, and enhancing self-awareness, energy therapy can support individuals in their journey towards healing and breaking free from the grip of depression. As with any treatment, it's important to consult with a qualified energy therapy practitioner and work in conjunction with other healthcare professionals. Embrace the power of energy therapy and take a step towards reclaiming your vitality and wellbeing.
The Pursuit of Happiness
Secrets to a Joyful Life
Happiness, an emotion so profound yet elusive, is a universal pursuit that transcends cultures, religions, and socio-economic statuses. It is a journey, not a destination, and while it may seem like a simple concept, achieving genuine happiness can sometimes feel like an uphill battle.
Happiness is more than just a positive mood or fleeting moment of joy. It’s an enduring state of mind that’s closely tied to our sense of fulfilment, purpose, and well-being. It’s the inner peace that comes from living a life true to oneself, the satisfaction from meaningful relationships, the joy of giving, and the resilience to rise above adversities.
Many scientific studies have shown that happiness doesn't come from wealth, fame, or materialistic possessions. Instead, it comes from within – through positive thinking, gratitude, compassion, and strong interpersonal relationships.
One of the keys to unlocking happiness is cultivating a positive outlook on life. This doesn't mean ignoring life's challenges, but rather, choosing to focus on the good. Positive thinking starts with self-talk. The conversations we have with ourselves shape our perceptions and emotions. By consciously choosing to see the silver lining, we foster optimism and resilience, which contribute significantly to our overall happiness.
Gratitude, too, plays a crucial role in nurturing happiness. By appreciating what we have, rather than longing for what we don't, we shift our focus from lack to abundance. A simple practice of daily gratitude can significantly improve our well-being and life satisfaction.
Compassion is another essential ingredient in the recipe for happiness. The act of giving, whether it's time, resources, or simply a listening ear, triggers the release of endorphins, often referred to as 'feel-good' hormones. Helping others not only makes us feel good but also strengthens our sense of purpose and connection.
Strong interpersonal relationships are at the heart of happiness. Humans are inherently social creatures, and meaningful connections with others can greatly enhance our happiness. Whether it's family, friends, or a wider community – investing time and energy in nurturing these relationships can lead to a greater sense of belonging and joy.
Lastly, embracing self-love and self-care is paramount to happiness. This involves honouring our feelings, taking care of our physical health, setting boundaries, and practicing forgiveness. When we learn to love and accept ourselves – flaws and all – we radiate happiness from the inside out.
Remember, the pursuit of happiness is a personal journey, and it looks different for everyone. It’s about finding what lights you up and doing more of it. It’s not about being happy all the time but acknowledging all feelings – good or bad – and knowing that it's okay to have off days.
In the end, achieving happiness is not a one-time event but a continuous process of growth and self-discovery. So embark on your journey, savour every moment, and remember – happiness is not out there for us to find, it's right within us to cultivate.
