Change Happens
Gentle support. Powerful shifts. Lasting change.
Sometimes we know that something needs to change, even if we are not quite sure where to begin.
You may be feeling anxious, overwhelmed, stuck in old patterns, disconnected from yourself, or simply aware that the way you have been feeling is no longer how you want to live.
My approach is gentle, supportive and solution-focused, helping you understand what may be sitting beneath the surface while giving you practical tools to create meaningful change.
Over the years, I have supported adults, teenagers and children with a wide range of emotional and wellbeing challenges, including anxiety and panic, confidence and self-worth, grief and loss, fears and phobias, trauma, sleep difficulties, stress, emotional eating, habits and unwanted patterns, exam or performance anxiety and navigating periods of change.
There is no one-size-fits-all approach here. We begin with you.
Therapy & Coaching, Tailored to You
Hello, I’m Susie, a Therapist and Coach with over a decade of experience supporting people to gently shift, heal and come home to themselves.
My work is rooted in an integrative approach, blending solution-focused coaching and therapy with powerful modalities including Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP), Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT/Tapping), hypnotherapy and meditation, alongside the wider healing practices that naturally weave through my work.
I work intuitively, drawing upon the techniques that feel most supportive for you and where you are right now.
Sometimes that means exploring an old experience that still carries an emotional charge. Sometimes it is about calming the nervous system, changing an unhelpful belief or pattern, reconnecting with confidence, or creating a new way forward.
And sometimes the most powerful shift is simply remembering that you do not have to keep carrying everything in the way you always have.
My Journey
My own journey into this work began in 2006, when I was introduced to NLP and EFT almost by chance, although I’m not entirely sure I believe in chance anymore.
That experience changed the direction of my life.
At the time, I appeared fairly confident and capable on the outside, but internally it was a very different story.
For as long as I could remember, I had struggled with self-worth, insecurity and an incredibly harsh inner dialogue. I had lived with an eating disorder from my teenage years and had become exhausted by the constant feeling that somehow, I was never quite enough.
Perhaps you recognise that feeling of appearing absolutely fine to everyone else while quietly struggling underneath.
I also found myself in areas of my life that no longer felt right for me — including my career and my marriage — and through my own healing I began to understand just how profoundly our relationship with ourselves can influence every other part of our lives.
Less than a year after that first training, I made significant changes in my own life, enrolled on my NLP Practitioner training and began what would become an ongoing journey of healing, learning and self-discovery.
And I have never really stopped.
Over the years I have continued to train, explore and deepen my understanding of the mind, emotions, nervous system, energy and the many different ways we hold and release our experiences.
Today, I am happily married, Mum to two wonderful boys, and incredibly grateful to be doing work that feels so deeply aligned with who I am.
The tools that once helped me find my way back to myself are now woven into the work I share with others.
You Are Allowed to Change
One of the things I have learned, both personally and professionally, is that our past may shape us, but it does not have to define what happens next.
Old experiences can create beliefs, emotional responses and subconscious patterns that continue long after the original moment has passed.
When we begin to gently work with those patterns — rather than fighting against ourselves — something can start to shift.
The inner voice can soften.
The nervous system can begin to feel safer.
Old emotional weight can be released.
New choices can become possible.
And little by little, you can begin to feel more like you again.
You do not need to become a completely different person.
Sometimes change is simply about releasing what was never truly yours to carry, reconnecting with the parts of yourself that became lost along the way, and creating space for the person you are becoming.
If you feel ready to begin, I would love to support you.
Susie
